Teams from the Metro East and Northeast Regions account for nearly half of the teams in the college women's division. Last year, the Metro East had one of its strongest performances in Series history, with two teams, University of Pennsylvania Venus and University of Ottawa Lady Gee-Gees, playing their way into the Quarterfinals at the UPA College Championships. We hope to build upon last year's successes and continue developing both the quality and quantity of ultimate being played in this part of the country.

We are bringing the top teams in the Metro East and Northeast together for a weekend of competitive ultimate at a well-run tournament hosted at an awesome field site. We are thankful to have the support of many of the top teams in our region, and we will be hosting both a Division I, Division II, and B-Team / HS Team Division so that we can accommodate as many teams as possible.

The tournament is scheduled for March 13-14, 2010. The bid window is now open! Philly Classic will be a UPA Sanctioned Event and results from this tournament will count toward the official UPA College Rankings.
